Care & Treatment

Every piece we make is crafted from real wood and real wood has character. Grain variation, knots, color shifts, and natural movement are not flaws; they’re proof your piece is one of a kind.

To keep your item looking its best for years to come, please follow the care guidelines below.

General Care

  • Keep wood products indoors unless specifically labeled for outdoor use

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, heat sources, or excessive humidity

  • Clean with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth no harsh chemicals

Cutting Boards & Serving Pieces

  • Hand wash only with mild soap and warm water

  • Do not fully submerge in water

  • Dry immediately after washing

  • Periodically condition with food safe mineral oil or board cream

  • Do not soak or leave standing water on the surface

Decorative & Furniture Items

  • Dust regularly with a microfiber cloth

  • For finished surfaces, a light furniture wax may be applied occasionally

  • Small seasonal movement (expansion or contraction) is normal

Outdoor Items

  • Outdoor pieces should be kept under cover when possible

  • Natural weathering may occur over time

  • Reapply exterior sealant as needed based on climate exposure

Proper care will ensure your piece ages beautifully just like real wood should.
